Service Description
About the tutor. Lizzie Ault is a printmaker with a passion for folklore, wildlife and history. This is her first visit to the studio. She brings her passions and interests into her workshops providing inspirations drawn from the time of year and local traditions. Lizzie encourages creative confidence in her students and is happy to support students who want to create their own designs as well as supportive learners who want to work with provided imagery and templates. Introduction to Lino Printing A one day workshop where you will receive an introduction to lino printing. You will design, carve and print a your own design. You can choose from templates provided by the tutor or create from your own idea. The workshop will be inspired by the season, flowers, nature, celebrations. You are welcome to bring your own sketchbook with ideas to develop, otherwise all materials, tools and inspiration will be provided. You will go home with a beautiful print to frame and enjoy. You'll also keep the lino you've carved for further printing at home, at your leisure. No experience in lino printing is required for this workshop. Please remember to bring your lunch, but cake, tea and coffee will be served throughout the day.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations & Refunds Bookings for the workshops are made months in advance, therefore it can be difficult for me to resell any places at short notice. Workshops require a great deal of planning, financial commitment, supplies and tools, as well as paying staff. As a result, cancellations can result in lost revenue. This will greatly impact on the business. Ideally, I don’t want either of us to be out of pocket. You can cancel your space on a workshop up to two weeks before it takes place. This two-week period allows me the necessary time to try and find someone to fill your place which I will endeavour to do through word of mouth and social media. If I can fill your space you will receive a full refund minus £10 admin fee, to deal with the process of issuing your refund and finding an alternative person to fill your space. However, please appreciate if I am unable to find someone to take your place, you will not receive a refund. I do understand that there are sometimes unavoidable situations so am happy to discuss any exceptional circumstances you may have. To cancel your place on a workshop, please provide me with a written notice via email; jane@fabricpaperscissors.co.uk. Unless I have acknowledged your request, you shouldn’t consider your request delivered! If I don’t respond within three working days, then please send a follow-up email or call me. Refunds will be made in the same way as the payment was made, ie. Payments paid by a credit card can only be refunded to the same card. Cancellations by Fabric Paper Scissors I am entitled to cancel any group or workshop at any time subject to the repayment of any deposit and fees received in respect of the booking which has been cancelled. In the unlikely event of a cancellation by myself or a guest tutor, I will provide a full refund within 5 days of the workshop date. My liability is only for the cost of the class. If the class is cancelled, you are liable for any costs incurred by you including materials purchased in advance, travel or accommodation.
